Colored Discs on 3 Dowels
- This material let’s the child stack the discs. The child also has to do a simple matching exercise of placing the right colour discs on the right dowel colour.

Discs on Vertical dowel – This material helps the toddler develop hand-eye coordination by placing the discs one after the other in the dowel. It also helps the child practice with different finger grasps based on the shape of the object being inserted in the dowel.

Horizontal Dowel Variation – Serpentine
This material consists of a wooden disc that can be slideinto a serpentine horizontal metal dowel that is fixed to a wooden base.
This material, would enhance child’s Wrist movements. The progression from horizontal metal discs to these is tricky as the lines are thinner and child needs to move from bent lines to stack.
Hence, it helps the child in hand and wrist movements plus the coordination to push through the bent lines.
